FSFE - Free Software Foundation Europe
Non profit organisation working to create general understanding and support for software freedom. Includes news, events, and campaigns.
Présentation
The Free Software Foundation Europe is a charity that empowers users to control technology.
Software is deeply involved in all aspects of our lives. Free Software gives everybody the rights to use, understand, adapt, and share software. These rights help support other fundamental rights like freedom of speech, freedom of press, and privacy.
The Software Freedom Podcast for September is out! In this episode Bonnie Mehring meets with Carsten Agger, the FSFE’s Danish Coordinator. Together, they talk about the Free Software community in Denmark, digital sovereignty, and the growing interest in Free Software within the public sector.
For all Italian students, we are coming with an exciting project for you! Italian pupils can gain credit points for their extra curriculum while developing Free Software projects and competing in Youth Hacking 4 Freedom. As the FSFE’s programming competition is, from now on, integrated in the Italian extra school credit points system.
We are a diverse community of people from all over Europe and beyond, who are committed to Free Software. If you feel likewise, join us in our work for freedom.
